As the outer wheel begins to spin and pick up pace, the inner wheel has already been in motion. In fact, it has been turning at a high rpm. With one wheel spinning inside the other we can often set our eyes on the direction of the initial start. Meaning, the little inner wheel begins churning and we instinctively know that motion is happening. Once the outer wheel engages the distance covered comes in a greater space.
The purpose is for us to learn a new level of activity inside the Lord. Isaiah described it as those who walk will run; those who run will soar like the eagles and be strengthened. As one motion perpetuates the other the cycle is the same but more ground is covered. It is the benevolence of a Creative God! He doesn’t demand a greater burden just be the willing vessel. If He choses to lift you higher at a point in time, then it is His grace that will keep you there.
In the last few week’s things have become active. I won’t say I’m running yet. But I am operating under the shadow of His wing. In a normal drive home from work, I get some down time to shift the mindset back to home and then to school. I can’t say any two days are the same when it comes to commuting, because everyday has its own adventure. Without a doubt I know it is part of His Grace that keeps me safe on the roads.
With life and its motion of events, we can often get called away and miss the finer things. The little things. Its in the small daily commute where I get jealous for my time with God. Now, I don’t want that to be exaggerated with additional traffic, but I welcome the time with Him. If I have to be a commuter, then allow me the advantage of communion while I do it.
When you go out today? How will you fit a bit of God in your day? The wheels are set in motion. Ground has to be covered. Will you be ready? Will you join up with Him today? Say it. JESUS! SAY IT LOUD! JESUS! I am your’s! JESUS! Let us start our little beginnings today and pray for the Holy Spirit to have His way!
Godspeed, The Journeyman
