“The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace (Exodus 14:14 KJV).”
Moses spake these words unto Israel when they had realized that Pharaoh had caught up to them after leaving Egypt. They had complained, “Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness (Exodus 14:11 KJV)?” The complaints were real and untimely.
The acts that the “I AM” had just performed over the previous year or two were freshly wiped from their minds or at least displaced. They had gone back to an old mindset where they could exist. Not live, just exist, until they were no more… Fear had made its mark.
Sternly, Moses chided and encouraged the people, “Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye see to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever (Exodus 14: 13 KJV).” It was a simple 1, 2, 3 command. Dispel the fear. Stand still. Watch.
We are at the precipice of a moment in time. A relief is about to unfold from the old way that has ensnared far too many for far too long. Then there will come a quick backlash from those who could no longer keep the stranglehold on the masses. But then… yes, but then! God says: do not fear. Stand still. Watch. For the ones who have enslaved the people will no longer exist to do this again. I will be honored upon them who have done this just as I was honored upon Pharaoh and his host (Exodus 14: 4 KJV).
The LORD’s deliverance is still told until this day from the time of Pharaoh and He will do it again just in a new way. This will release His people from the bondage they are currently under throughout the world and the world will know His Glory because of it.
“Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth. The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works (Psalm 104: 30-31).”
So today, take a moment to give thanks. Rejoice for the time is at hand! Remember Him throughout the day and keep close to Him. Jesus told His apostles that He would leave you His peace (John 14:27 KJV). His peace will displace and eradicate any and all fear.
Godspeed, The Journeyman
Ps. Once the stranglehold is gone, the battle for the 7 hilltops or mountains remains. We must take back the land! Be involved. Pray and advance. Innovate. Lead. Faith in Him is what is needed in the days ahead not in a man or woman. Happy Labor Day weekend!
